Brazilian Weight Loss Diet: Lose 22 pounds in 2 Weeks

When you think of Brazilian girls you think about those perfectly rounded and strong buttocks, right?

Well, they also have an interesting and very effective plan of eating that can shred that stubborn belly fat.

The Brazilian diet is one of those extreme and fast diets as it promises loss of as much as 22 pounds of body weight in just 2 weeks.

Since there are two versions of this diet (extremely fast and normal), I have decided to share only the “normal” dieting plan.

The extreme one, as its name suggests, is really extreme as it’s way too unhealthy and nutritionally poor that I wouldn’t recommend it even to an enemy.

So let’s start with the “normal” version of the Brazilian diet!

This version should be held for 4 weeks and, if everything goes well, you should be able to lose up to 22 pounds a month!

There are 4-5 daily meals, and the main food is mostly fruits and vegetables.

7-day eating plan

MONDAY

Breakfast: 1 orange, 1 banana and 1 cup of orange juice
Snack: 1 glass of orange juice and 1 piece of integral toast
Lunch: 100 grams of cooked fish, 100 grams of raw vegetable salad of your choice
Dinner: -the same you had for lunch
Meal before bedtime: 1 glass of orange juice, 1 small piece of integral toast

TUESDAY

Breakfast:ย  1 boiled egg, 1 cup of apple juice
Snack: 1 small piece of integral toast, 1 glass of apple juice
Lunch: 100 grams of cooked meat, 2 boiled potatoes, 4 leaves of lettuce
Dinner: 200 grams of cooked fish, 1 hard-boiled egg, lettuce, green peas (you can use canned ones if you can’t find it fresh)
Meal before bedtime: 1 cup of apple juice, 1 integral toast

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast:ย  1 cup of non-fat milk, 1 piece of integral toast
Snack: 100 grams of fatty cheese
Lunch: 100 grams of rice, 150 grams of fresh cabbage salad with 1 lemon toppings and a spoonful of chopped parsley leaves
Dinner: 100 grams of cooked meat, 1 apple, 4 leaves of lettuce
Meal before bedtime: 1 cup of apple juice, 1 small piece of integral toast

THURSDAY

Breakfast:ย  1 cup of pineapple juice, 60 grams of pineapple (fresh or canned)
Snack: 1 cup of pineapple juice, 1 small piece of integral toast
Lunch: 100 grams of cooked meat, a small piece of cheese and 1 orange
Dinner: 2 boiled potatoes, 150 grams of fresh carrots with a bit of cold-pressed oil of your choice
Meal before bedtime: 1 cup of pineapple juice, 1 piece of integral toast

FRIDAY

Breakfast:ย  1 glass of apple juice and 1 small integral toast
Snack: 1 apple, 1 orange
Lunch: 150 grams of cooked fish, 2 small boiled carrots
Dinner: 1 plate of vegetable soup (mushroom or fish soups are also fine), a small piece of wholegrain bread
Meal before bedtime: 1 glass of orange juice, 1 small piece of integral toast

SATURDAY

Breakfast:ย  1 glass of apple juice, 1 piece of integral toast
Snack: 150 grams of cooked beetroot salad with a little bit of cold-pressed vegetable oil
Lunch: 1 plate of vegetable, mushroom or fish soup, and 1 small piece of wholegrain bread
Dinner: 100 grams of fried mushrooms, 100 grams of raw vegetable salad (optional)
Meal before bedtime: 1 cup of apple juice, 2 fresh biscuits

SUNDAY

Breakfast:ย  1 banana, 1 handful of raisins
Snack: 1 glass of carrot juice, 1 small piece of integral toast
Lunch: 100 grams of cooked meat, 100 grams of fresh cabbage salad, green onion and lemon juice (but use only one lemon)
Dinner: 1 plate of vegetable, fish or mushroom soup, 100 grams of fruit, 4 leaves of lettuce
Meal before bedtime: 1 glass of apple juice, 2 dried figs

It’s allowed to repeat this meal plan for 2-4 weeks – no more than that!

The period of switching back to normal food is achieved by primarily increasing fruit and vegetable intake and then by gradually including protein-rich food.

As you’ve probably noticed, this diet is rich in vitamins in minerals, so it’s almost impossible to have mineral or vitamin deficiency.

Also, eating schedule is flexible and meals are frequent, so there shouldn’t be any hunger cravings between meals. This also means that blood sugar should stay relatively consistent throughout a day.

Physical activities

As with any diet, it’s recommended to have regular physical exercise.

I mean, have you ever read a post where exercise is not recommended? ๐Ÿ™‚

30 minutes of fast-paced walking, cycling or swimming will do the job.

The Brazilian style of eating promotes light food and movement, so you should definitely give it a try!

  1. I there any substitutions? like hard boiled egg. not a big fan, my egg has to be well cooked. As well as, Mushrooms and beetroot.
